BewhY Delivers In New York City

Following a successful solo North American tour in November 2017, BewhY and friends returned to the continent with an even bigger, 9 city tour, stopping in Atlanta, Dallas, Houston, Berkley, Los Angeles, Vancouver, Calgary, Toronto, and finally NYC, where we got to see the rapper live.

February 9th, 2020, BewhY came to Mission NYC nightclub for the final stop in his second North American Tour. BewhY’s religion, skill, and love for his fans were on full display for this high energy performance, taking moments to show his gratefulness for the super high energy crowd, thanking G-D, and doing his infamous speedy bars back to back.

The show opened up with Boy Konan, who took the stage for a thirty minute set. Following Boy Konan was Ted Park, who joined BewhY for all 9 cities, with another thirty minute set of old and new songs as a teaser for his first solo tour coming later this year. He also made mention of a possible 6 to 7 EP releases for 2020. After his set Ted Park invited his friend ATL rapper Parlay Pass, The Dirty South Korean as he referred to himself, to the stage for his own thirty minute set.

After nearly an hour and a half of the opening performances from Boy Konan, and Ted Park, and Parlay Pass, BewhY finally took the stage to a more than excited crowd. He kicked off with a number of oldies from his first album, Time Travel,” which included 중2ëł‘,” and “Time Goes On.” before leaving again for an intermission performance from Simba Zimwadi, who featured on “The Movie Star,” that took another thirty minutes.

Finally, BewhY took the stage for good, whipping the crowd into a frenzy with songs from his 2019 album The Movie Star,” including Won,” I Did It,” and fan favourite, 가라사대.”

BewhY provided a lot fan service, stopping to talk to and interact with fans, including sharing his water bottles with the crowd because of the hot venue. After a long talk with the crowd, BewhY then transitioned into his Show Me The Money 7 hit, Superbeewhy which was met by an ovation from the crowd for BewhY’s impressive display of his signature speed rapping and cover of Superbee’s part. Next, he went into Puzzle,” even rapping CJamm’s part, and rounding out with “Who You,” his song with G2, and Simon Dominic from Show Me The Money 5.

The NYC leg of BewhY’s “The Move Star Tour 2020” was energetic and intense, and left the crowd excited for his next return to the Big Apple.
