‘WILT’ is back and it’s doubled the size. I missed my monthly roundup in August, but this month I’m back with all the albums and songs that have been doing it for me as of late. Now, let’s get into ‘What I’m Listening To.’

This album was hands down Tae Yang’s best AND the best of the year!
Rebirth
Artist: 레드벨벳 (Red Velvet) | Album: 환생 (Rebirth) (SM Station)
Purchase on iTunes | Stream on Spotify
“Rebirth” is a SM Station release but is one of my favourite songs from Red Velvet. Its slow, sweet and romantic, and fresh revamp of their usual sound.

Rollin’ [ALBUM]
Artist: 비원에이포 (B1A4)
Purchase on iTunes | Stream on Spotify
I don’t think I’ve met a B1A4 album that I don’t like and “Rollin'” is no exception. These boys have found their groove, their sound, and they continue to evolve it and wow.
This album is a collection of breezy, tropical, house music. The songs blend together and never fall victim to sounding live on long song, instead standing strong on their own.
Nora ft. G-Soul by Skull & Ha Ha
Artist: 스컬 (Skull) & 하하 (Ha Ha) | Album: Nora (Single)
Purchase on iTunes | Stream on Spotify
I have a real problem with the duo Skull & Ha Ha and the way the approach Reggae. Skull & Ha Ha’s “style” of Reggae is always messy and an offensive hodge-podge of all the stereotypes and generalizations of Jamaican culture, language and music, but never really includes the elements that make Reggae, Reggae. For that reason I usually pass on releases from these two.
However, it seems that working with G-Soul, who excelled at putting his own spin on the genre of Reggae with his song “멀리멀리 (Far, Far Away),” has helped Skull & Ha Ha immensely. The important instrumental elements, particularly the organ and percussion, are there but still allow Ha Ha and Skull to be who they are ass artists.
네 생각 (Thought Of You) by John Park
Artist: 존박 (John Park) | Album: 네 생각 (Single)
Purchase on iTunes | Stream on Spotify
This song is about a year old, but I stumbled across it while knee deep in the YouTube vortex. John Park’s voice is strong, and is just one of those singers who really can’t go wrong.
If you are looking for a stellar performance of this song, I suggest his duet with Joseph from I Can See Your Voice 3
