I’ve been listening to Kpop for nearly 10 years now, but the other day I looked around an realized the game has completely changed and I don’t really know when it happened! So, I’m reviving an old, but still relevant and very much hilarious, Twitter trend to let the newer fans of the Hallyu Wave know just how lucky they got it by giving them a glimpse of the old days of Kpop when the life of a fan was so much harder, and the future wasn’t so bright.

Sub whats?! If you didn’t speak Korean and a Drama or TV Show didn’t have a huge star with a very dedicated fanbase then you weren’t watching it.

The struggle was REAL on this one. Finding your favourite groups’ latest songs led many of us down a dark road to sketchy sites and risking computer viruses.

Life Before Kpop Learned What A World Tour Is

It wasn’t until the last three years that Korean musicians started including countries not on the continent of Asia as a part of the World, and back when I started listening to Kpop, groups touching down in the States, Europe, or South America was every fan’s ultimate wet dream.
