Another drug scandal has hit the Kpop world. While we don’t know who it is, there is a story going around that some top idols from a major agency have been caught up in cocaine use.
Authorities caught 53 year old singer, Kye Eun Suk (left), who has previously been charged for using methamphetamine on three occasions, with cocaine at Incheon Airport.
A well known Korean music insider, Harry Kim, who also used to work for YG, was also been connected to the drug use and has been arrested, which we now know thanks to Ben Baller, but that will come later.
Police are now investigating a possible connection to some top idols, but the drama going on, on Twitter with Ben Baller and his big mouth, suggests that the arrest of these idols may be the ruin of this top agency.
The producer took to Twitter to vent about Harry Kim, who he is suggesting is trading evidence with authorities for a lighter sentence.
He deleted that tweet, but Koreaboo jumped on it, and his following tweets, which were also directed at Harry Kim, to say he was prematurely coming to YG’s defense, which suggests YG is agency in question.
I have to say, Koreaboo was stretching, and their need to drag YG into this is without solid evidence, is questionable, and even suspicious. But, rather than just deleting his tweets, and leaving the mess he made alone, ol’ Benny boy went on to address Koreaboo directly:
Convincing…
Is it just me of is he is also sort of outing YG artists for using illegal diet pills?
He even took some time to tell a Kpop fan off:
Wonderful. All I have to say is this. There were no reports on Harry Kim being arrested, and therefore no connection between the drug bust and YG. Even if he was just venting about Harry Kim selling someone out to get a lighter sentence, Ben Baller has no direct connection to this scandal (because according to him Harry owes him money so he cut ties years ago), so he shouldn’t be speaking on it.
So, because he couldn’t keep his big mouth shut, he dragged YG into this for absolutely no reason other than he must have wanted to be in the mix. But, unfortunately for him (and YG) it went all the way left.
Someone needs to remind Ben Baller he’s not on the YG payroll, and to take several seats.
