Wonder Girls WILL Be Coming Back…Just Not How You’d Expect

The details around the Wonder Girls comeback are as messy as this picture I Frankenstein-ed together. I don’t know if JYP is trying to be coy, but after just last week saying:

“Nothing has been decided regarding Wonder Girls’ comeback. Sunye returned for a personal event. It was not to prepare for Wonder Girls’ comeback.”

It’s come out that the Wonder Girls will actually be salvaged, and made into a 4 person band, and that Sunmi will be returning to the group:

“Wonder Girls completed their music video shooting for their new song today in Gyeonggi-do, Namyang-ju. Yoobin, Ye Eun, Hyelim, and Sunmi are planning to make a comeback as a quartet. The comeback is aimed for July.”

Apparently “…they have been practicing playing…instruments for a long time.” I mean…okay. I guess since they’ve been out of the game for a hot minute they have to mix it up. I’ll definitely check it out, but honestly, this “band” idea sounds like poop (just ask AOA).
