The Kpop world just got turned on its ear…again, with news that future wife beater Kim Hyun Joong is reportedly back with the girlfriend who’s arm he broke summer of last year, AND (drumroll) is expecting a baby with her.
Suddenly it’s very clear why she wasn’t willing to send him to jail.
But, as per usually, the agency is the “last to know,” and has released this statement essentially requesting more time to look into the rumour:
“We found out about this information through the news. We will need to look into it for confirmation.”
Now, if history has taught us anything, agencies know just about everything their artists are doing. If Kim Hyun Joong got a girl pregnant, especially the one he JUST got into a scandal with, he’d be a smart man to tell his agency before anyone else so they can prep for damage control. I think they’re just buying time to break it to us gently, but only time will tell.
Of course, netizens are expressing concern for both the mother and alleged child’s safety…given the history. But, I’m not gonna pile on and take (too many) jabs at Kim Hyun Joong because I’d be a hypocrite being that I was an advocate for ‘give a man a second chance’ when it came to Chris Brown, and his abuse scandal with Rihanna.
