On Friday November 14th, 2pm kicked off their U.S Tour in Newark NJ at the Prudential Center.

The night kicked off with a countdown to the start of the concert over the Djnure Vs Fingazz Remix of 미친거 아니야? (Go Crazy). Their 1st performance of the night was their 2009 hit, “Heartbeat”:

After performing a few songs, the boys took a break to introduce themselves and talk to fans. I’ll admit, they were a bit rough around the edges, in terms of transitioning from performance to talks, and back.

Taecyeon did say they were nervous, and it showed. As for the talks, Taecyeon handled the majority of the English speaking, surprisingly Nichkhun did very little talking although both the fluent English speakers had a bit of fun forcing Junho & specifically Chansung to take a whack at it:

Woo Young absolutely refused, with the exception of asking ‘are you ready‘:

When they broke for their second break/talk, they wanted to sing a song with us that they felt was representative of the country….we sang “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star.” Yes in real life.

Overall, 2pm was amazing. They had a strong energy and a great presence. A pleasant surprise of the night was finding out that Taecyeon is hilarious. They kept hinting throughout the night that this concert was a stepping stone to a bigger U.S Tour, and if so, you can bet I will be going to see them again.
