Well nothing is confirmed but according to the singer’s Weibo account she was terminated!!
This is perhaps the troll to end all trolls, or the beginning of the end for SM and Kpop as we know it. While many fans are speculating that Jessica’s Weibo account was hacked, her post on the Chinese social media site is still creating quite social media buzz:
“I was excited about our upcoming fan events only to shockingly be informed by my company and 8 others that as of today, I’m no longer a member. I’m devastated – my priority and love is to serve as a member of GG, but for no justifiable reason, I am being forced out..“
This news comes just days after the entire group was confirmed to have renewed their contracts with SM for an additional 3 years. I would call complete bullshit on this, but SM said they need to look into the matter before releasing a statement…um…who would know better than SM if Jessica’s contract was terminated. They could have at least made a statement about that first.
This controversy has Jessica, and SNSD trending #1 and #2 on Twitter and it’s put huge dent in SM’s wallet. The agency’s stocks dropped 5% after the news hit.
