There are a lot of Kpoppers who found their way to the genre through K-Dramas and film. Mainstream Kpop is not as good about bringing stories to their MV, but just outside of mainstream Korean music are Ballad artists, and their brilliance. Great vocals, and tear jerking videos are enough to get anyone addicted. Check out this list of music videos that will help you convert you friends by taking the best of Korean music and K-Dramas and melting them into one perfect package!

First up is K.Will’s “이러지마 제발 (Please Don’t…).” This MV was one of the most talked about in 2013 brought a good story together with even better music. The jaw dropping ending is sure to leave your konovertee begging for more!
My next suggestion is ZiA’s “Voice of Heaven” trilogy. Using all the songs from her 2007 album, ZiA created a mini movie starring actors Shin Hyun Joon and Kim Ok Bin.
Another great suggestion from ZiA is her “Road Movie” trilogy, which saw the return of Shin Hyun Joon and featured the rapping skills of Big Bang’s T.O.P, see here
Next is the “Inside Story” trilogy from trio, Monday Kiz. The story is very good but sad. Also, this is the last album from the group to include member Kim Min Soo, who passed away less then a month after the album’s release in a motorcycle accident.
This two part story spans two Seeya albums, “1집 – First Mind” and “2.5집 – California Dream,” and is yet another great tear jerker.
My last suggestion is Davichi’s “Amaranth” trilogy off the duo’s first album. This one stars queen bee of Kpop, Lee Hyori, and actress Lee Mi Yeon in a Thelma and Louise-esque drama.
