• tvN drama, “Nine,” to be remade in the US Fake Empire Entertainment. CJ E&M drama department director released this statement:

“Among existing American dramas, the remade products were mostly purchased from British drama formats. However, ‘Homeland‘, which was originally an Israeli drama, is garnering a lot of popularity so they are looking at other countries… This contract came to fruition through an active proposal from the American production company.“

• Yoo In Na lands role of Yoo Se Mi in upcoming SBS drama “Man From The Stars.” She had this to say about her new role:

“I’ve always respected writer Park Ji Eun and director Jang Tae Yooso it is a big honor for me to work in the same drama as the excellent crew… I look forward to my collaboration with the awesome cast.”

• Dating rumors surface for “Shark” co-stars Son Ye Jin & Kim Nam Gil. A rep, of course, denied the rumors saying:

“They are close to the point they fool around calling each other ‘sweetheart’ on the set of their drama and movie, but they are definitely not dating.…They are even close enough that they made a promise to date each other if the viewer rating for drama ‘Shark’ went over 20%…They are close to the point that strangers who saw them could get the wrong idea.  However, if they were really dating, they probably could not hang out like that without some constraints.“

• Goddess of Fire Jeongi stars, Kim Bum and Moon Geun Young have been confirmed to be dating and are even on an overseas trip in Europe together! Moon Geun Young’s agency, Namoo Actors released this statement confirming the couple:

“Moon Geun Young and Kim Bum grew fond of each other through ‘Goddess of Fire, Jeongi’. They’re currently just getting to know each other and are carefully beginning a relationship. Please look on them kindly.”

A separate rep also confirmed the trip and relationship:

“Kim Bum and Moon Geun Young left for a trip to Europe after MBC’s ‘Goddess of Fire’ came to an end. They aren’t the only two going on this trip. They went with other friends as well. We don’t know their return date either.”
