Review: 첫사랑 (First Love)

첫사랑 (First Love)

After School returns with their 6th Maxi Single “첫사랑 (First Love),” and they have their sexy appeal, and stripper poles in tow.

After School did some serious channeling of the 1990s with their new song, and video, “첫사랑 (First Love).” The girls turned up the sexy with this promotions by working a couple of stripper poles a simple slow beat, and it was almost magical to witness. I think After School really set themselves apart from other girl groups right now by putting some real skill into this promotions. We’ve all seen the bruises, and the injuries the girls suffered to get their routine down, and I have to give them a big hand for it.

As for the song, I don’t think this was their best song to date, but paired with the great visuals its easy to get past. I do think its an improvement from their last few, very boring, promotions.
