Review: Sweet Dream

Sweet Dream

Hip Hop power couple, Yoon Mirae, and Tiger JK teamed up with rapper, Bizzy to make group, MFTBY (My Fans Better Than Yours), and made their debut with single, “Sweet Dream.”

First song on the album is, “BizzyTigerYoonmirae (MFBTY).” This track is all about doing what rappers do best, self praise. While the men killed it, Yoon Mirae more than held her own, which is why I love her so much. This was just a perfect track, I wanted a MV for this song too!!

Score: 1/1

Title song, “Sweet Dream,” is wonderful. At first I wasn’t sure how I felt about the singing bits but the more I listened to it the better it got, which is all I can ask for. The music video was great, it was filled with lots of digital effects, and was fun to watch. I could go on forever praising this piece of perfection.

Score: 1/1

9 times out of 10, I don’t like the remix of a song, especially when the artists release it themselves, and unfortunately, “Sweet Dream (SMELLS Like Money Mix)” was no exception. I don’t know what else to say but it just wasn’t my cup of tea, I prefer the original.

Score: .25/1

This group was like a match made in heaven! Holy crap, why didn’t I think of this when I was making my list of dream collabos? It was just these gods of rapping coming together, and doing what they know, and not covering it with gimmicks, and fluff. If you didn’t like this album (AT LEAST) there’s some serious denial/hating going on!! This album was damn near perfection!!

Final Score: 3.75/5
